What generations are compatible with the digital cluster?

For now, the digital dash is only compatible with the NA/MK1 Miata (90-97).

Does it work with 1.6L and 1.8L engines?

Yes, it does. It works with all NA's/MK1's.

What about other generations?

The NB is the next one in the works, but we hope to get to other generations.

How does installation work? Is it a plug-n-play system?

Installation requires some wiring and sending unit replacement, but is relatively easy. Videos and instructions on the Installation page will help a consumer through the process.

What about odometer laws?

We are not responsible for any violations of odometer laws in the United States or overseas. Because many Miatas in the US are odometer exempt, there should be little to no issue. Please research your local/national laws regarding odometer readings and their integrity.

What if I am doing an engine conversion?

If the sensors that are present for the stock engine are used in the conversion, then there should be no issue.

Does the digital dash support metric? Is it available overseas?

The digital dash can be programmed to metric before shipping. It will be available overseas, but released in June in the United States.

I have MegaSquirt. Is it compatible?

Aftermarket ECU's are compatible as long as you understand the wiring for your specific brand.

I heard it is just an overlay that gives the cluster its look. Is that true?

No, it is not. The digital cluster is actually a circuit board seated in the original cluster housing and is wired to the back of it. A smoked acrylic lens is also seated on top of the board to give it its look.
